Majors is a private, low-density boarding retreat built on Pack Science principles. When your clients ask where to board a large dog, this is the referral that reflects on your practice.
Why Partner
Most boarding facilities were not built with large breed physiology or behavior in mind. Majors was. We operate at a maximum of 4 member dogs at any time, on more than 4 private acres in Corryton, Tennessee. When you recommend Majors, you are giving your clients a verified, predictable environment where their dog will be supervised, evaluated, and genuinely cared for.
A maximum of 4 member dogs at any time. No kennels, no chaos. Your clients' dogs are guests, not inventory.
4 plus acres in Corryton, TN. Napping rooms, open space, and a resident pack that sets the social standard.
Optimal group size of 5 to 8 dogs based on behavioral research. Every new member is temperament evaluated before joining.
The Process
Simple, low-friction for you and your client. You make the introduction. We handle everything after.
Share our website or this page with a client whose large breed dog would benefit from a low-density, supervised environment. A brief note or a link is all it takes.
The client submits an application describing their dog. We review for fit. If the dog qualifies, we schedule an on-site temperament evaluation to confirm compatibility with our resident pack.
Once accepted, the client chooses a monthly, 6 month, or annual membership. Their dog joins a small, stable group with professional supervision and structure. You stay in the loop if you want to.
What Sets Us Apart
Most boarding operations scale up. We deliberately stayed small. Here is what that decision means for every dog in our care.
Only 4 member dogs board at Majors at any time. Every dog has space, attention, and a human ratio that no large facility can match.
Private rural property. Large dogs need space to decompress, not a 10 by 12 run. Outdoor access is part of every day.
Our resident pack (Major, Duke, and Bella) provides stable social structure. New members are introduced gradually and evaluated for compatibility.
Dogs need rest between social periods. We have dedicated quiet spaces designed for recovery, not just overflow kennels with a softer mat.
Every member is screened. We decline dogs that would disrupt the group dynamic. The membership is exclusive because the environment depends on it.
Behavioral research supports groups of 5 to 8 dogs as the optimal social size. We respect that number. Our boarding model was designed around it, not around maximizing revenue.
